SpArt Logo Design Competition

Congratulations to Todd Lopez from Creative-Order for entering the winning logo into our SpArt competition! Creative Order have provided a brief on how they created the logo.

"In today’s chaotic, visually saturated marketplace, the need for a strong brand identity is paramount. It’s this insight which guides all of Creative Order’s identity designs, and in particular the winning entry for the SpArt Awards Program.

The winning logo, inspired by the shape of pixels, illustrates a bigger idea; questioning how digital media and technology today is making an impact on the sports and art industry.

“We are all incredibly excited about winning the SpArt logo competition, and feel honored to be able to support such a great initiative such as the SpArt Awards Program”, comments Todd Lopez, Founding Partner, Creative Order."

SpArt Awards

The SpArt concept was created in 2005 as a play on arts and sports and was an effort to bring the sectors together to celebrate synergies. The first event included a two day conference followed by an Awards Night Presentation. In recent years Verve has decided to continue the Annual Awards Presentation and run a series of shorter workshops tailored to the needs of the industries we represent.

The SpArt Awards Night is now a fixture on Verve’s Calendar and allows us to show case what is great in the sectors. This is achieved through the acknowledgement of finalists during the awards presentation and in the design, staging and entertainment of the event.

The SpArt Training Awards are our opportunity to shine the light on achievers, including students, trainees, employers and training providers in the vocational education and training sector. SpArt winners often become finalists at the Victorian State Training Awards with 2009 being no exception. In 2009 Yuta Kobayashi and Thomas Allamby both went on to the state stage in their respective Trainee of the Year and Vocational Student of the Year categories.
