Projects

Verve – Knowledge & Skills engages in projects to identify workforce issues, analyse skills needs and promote skills development in the culture and recreation sectors.

Core work includes publishing an annual report to the Victorian government on the key skills and knowledge requirements of the culture and recreation sectors. Verve is also commissioned to perform consultancy services and conduct project work and activities as specific industry needs arise. Recent and current clients include Skills Victoria, Film Victoria, Service Skills Australia, Innovation and Business Skills Australia (IBSA), Reframing the Future and the National Centre for Vocational Education and Research (NCVER).

Verve engages in a range of core and commercial activities to identify workforce needs and build on skills development in the culture and recreation sectors. Core work included or annual Skills Needs Report (PDF) presented to the Victorian government on the key skills and knowledge requirements of the sectors. Projects are also commissioned by government and other agencies when a specific need arises. Current industry specific projects include:
